Originally an open air produce market, the Mahane Yehuda Shuk  has evolved into a composite of original ethnic produce vendors and their employees, alongside upscale restaurants, boutique coffee shops, bars, and what not, which has added a hipster/bohemian flare to the original core. It’s a never-ending source of material for local color painting, as George’s ever-evolving series attests to.
